Precision Machining, Assembly/Kitting, Inspection, Anodize/Chem-Film, Passivate, Heat Treat, Grinding, Wire/Sinker EDM, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) – All secondary operations through NADCAP approved vendors.
Precision Machining - In-house milling/turning of precision machined components from a limitless variety of subtrates, utilizing the latest evolution of equipment and techonologies to provide expedient and accurate deliveries.
Assembly/Kitting - An on-site value add service, grouping projects together into families/assemblies reduces the need for managing multiple suppliers, and offsets all-in cost of your product. You receive a fully finished assembly, rather than pieces, waiting for another supplier to ship ancillary components. Additionally, design and assembly defects are detected on the production floor, allowing for more rapid revision, so your parts arrive fully prepared.
Anodize/Chem-film - Secondary operation, providing a corrosion resistant surface to non-ferrous materials.
Passivate - Secondary operation, Passivation is an acid etch, or cleaning for stainless steels that removes free iron from the surface, generated in the manufacturing process. This provides another layer to corrosion prevention.
Heat Treat - Secondary thermal operation, some steels are capable of enhanced hardness from their native state. Post machining, components may be heat treated to acheive the desired hardness per customer specification.
Surface Grinding - When flatness/parallelism/surface finish requirements are beyond that capable of conventional machining, we utilize surface grinding to meet your provided specifications. This is an incredibly accurate process to ensure your parts are in conformance.
Wire/Sinker EDM - Some components require EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) due to either complexity, material hardness, or precision. EDM is a highly accurate, and less intensive operation especially when dealing with smaller features and geometries in hard materials.
NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) - Various types, Ultra-sonic inspection, dye penetrent inspection, x-ray, etc. There are many different inspection techniques to determine conformance of material substrate, pre machining & post machining.
